Our Rules
BEHAVIOUR RULES :
The first rule is to have fun. If you don't have fun anymore with
us, just tell the High Council what your problem is, and if it can"t
be resolved then you just can try to live with it or to leave us for any
other good clan.
Our 2nd important rule is respect to each other. Of course,
kidding is allowed, but don't go too far with someone, and when he wants
you to stop kidding at him, just STOP!
The 3rd and probably most important rule is respect
to ppl outside the clan, 2D4
has always been a respected clan. This means no shit talking anyone outside
the clan when wearing a 2D4 tag!
GAME RULES :
1st : You must wear the official colored tag, defined by the High
Council.
2nd: . Train hard, even with the RailGun... This is the only way to get
better
3rd :. Don’t use cheats. Cheats are game fun killers. Just train harder,
you'll have more fun. Report any suspected cheater to High Council
4th :. : Recruitment rules : Only the High Council members can recruit
new members. Every member can test potential recruits.
5th: You must use IRC and chill with us in #2die4 on
irc.enterthegame.com when at all possible.
6th : Inactive members. Any member who has been inactive for two
weeks, without saying anything in our forum or posting mail to a High
Council member, will be automatically removed from our list.
7th: If you make a commitment to play in a match you must
follow through and show up ready to play, with appropriate maps, mods, etc.
installed, also have a few server options available.
8th: You must be signed up to our email list on yahoogroups.
How to make a colored name :
Edit the Q3CONFIG.CFG file in your ...QUAKE III ARENAaseq3 folder with
Wordpad.exe or notepad.exe
At the bottom of the file, add the following line :
bind x "name ^7=^42^7D^44^7=^5Name"
Name is your player name , x the key you want to bind to make
your colored name.
Save & close the file.
Now when you join a game, press the key (x)
you defined before, and your name will be colored and looks like this:
=2D4=Name
Name can be any color the player wishes but =2D4= must be uniform
^4 = Dk. Blue
^7 = White
